Visit by the Elsterwerda Business Delegation to Wilhelm Severt Maschinenbau GmbH

On Saturday, the business delegation from Elsterwerda, Vreden’s partner city, visited Wilhelm Severt Maschinenbau GmbH. The guests were accompanied by Clemens Elsing (second from right) (Head of Production/Authorized Signatory), Torsten Nölleke (first from left) (Head of Engineering/Authorized Signatory), and Gregor Kleverth (first person from the right) (Field Sales Representative) from Wilhelm Severt Maschinenbau GmbH, as well as by Vreden’s Mayor Dr. Tom Tenostendarp (third person from the left in the front row) and First Deputy Mayor Fadi Rajab (second person from the left). In just over three hours, the guests from Elsterwerda learned a great deal about the corporate structure and operations of the family-owned business, which has been in operation for over 60 years and employs approximately 450 people at its locations in Vreden and Gorlice (Poland). The tour offered fascinating insights into the approximately 16,000-square-meter production area, the company’s innovative strength, and its growth plans, and provided impetus for future economic dialogues between the two partner cities.
