A superordinate overall plant control for production planning and better coordination of the production processes can be integrated into your customised solution.

We can provide your turn-key, customised system. Our team will support you from concept generation to installation and commissioning. Apart from this, you may use our "after-sales service" for programming, service and maintenance work.

Severt sCube-weld-Cobot Welding Cell

The ideal solution for small parts and frequently changing welding tasks with lower production volumes. Thanks to its two rotating stations, the welding cell offers high efficiency and ensures minimal setup times in the manufacturing of welded assemblies. While one station is being loaded with parts, the robot performs welding operations on the other station simultaneously. The welding cell meets the highest safety and ergonomics standards according to the machinery directive, ensuring a safe and comfortable working process.

With the intuitive Easy Teach Device, welding sequences can be programmed in just a few seconds without extensive prior knowledge, resulting in up to 70% time savings compared to traditional offline programming.

As a plug-and-play solution, the welding cell impresses with its quick readiness for operation, offering additional cost savings. The cell delivers consistently high quality thanks to its outstanding positional and repeatability accuracy. The user-friendly processes are further enhanced by the Cobot Arc Welding Package on the robot arm, ensuring simple and intuitive operation.

SEVERT robot compact cell - the starter model for automation of your production

It is made up of a stable basic frame with a safety housing of solid cabin walls. High-quality industrial robots of our partners ABB and OTC are integrated into this cell and can be equipped with tried and tested welding and cutting equipment from leading manufactures just as required.

Many different SEVERT positioning units make sure that the workpieces are held and positioned. They put the parts into the right position for processing.

SEVERT robot systems for large and heavy parts - your individual solution is our core competence 

Our robot systems for large-volume parts are particularly characterised by high precision, solid movement axes and high flexibility. The robot systems can be designed as single-station and multiple-station systems. Our positioning technology with a carrying capacity of up to 70 to. and high precision have been established on the market for many years. Robot movement systems with up to 3 linear axes and a length in excess of 70 m have already been produced by us. In 2020, we commissioned a robot system for particulary large and heavy components inhouse, which is an example of our heavy-duty complete robot systems segment. It has two ABB robots thats enable good accessibility for large-volume components by means of a floor-mounted chassis and C-portals with lifting and rotating axes. This robot system is a highlight not only because of its dimensions but also because of its special technical equipment.

With two FRONIUS double-wire welding systems, it has state-of-the-art welding systems with which the best possible deposition rates can be achieved.

The robots are equipped with an automatic tool changing system that allows up to 8 different tools to be selected.

In addition to the single-wire and twin-wire torch, automated preheating with integrated temperature monitoring is also possible.

Optical sensor solutions for online seam tracking are also a highlight of the system.

From programming, to parts recognition, the production process and final inspection, defined interfaces are to interlock to permit an efficient, flexible and economically efficient production of parts by robot technology. This not only applies to large piece numbers, but also to small and medium-sized lots. Example elements for the SEVERT high-end robot solution include offline programming systems, visual, haptic and electrical sensors, as well as data administration systems for welding-parameter optimisation and image processing systems.

Depending on application, we integrate the matching welding, cutting or gripping systems, as well as the proper sensors into your robot system. This is done in close cooperation with our partners. In these matters, we make use of products from renowned manufacturers (such as Fronius, OTC, Kjellberg, ServoRobot or Schunk).

In addition to selection of the proper hardware, selection of the software is gaining more and more in importance for programming. Together with our network partners in the area of offline programming, we continually develop software solutions based on our practical experience.
