Wilhelm Severt Maschinenbau supports the work of “Mit Hand und Herz e.V.”

Wilhelm Severt Maschinenbau GmbH has presented a donation of 2,000 euros to the non-profit craft association “Mit Hand und Herz e.V.”. The donation was presented by Works Council Chairman Manuel Muhr (first person from left) and Managing Director Christina Tenhumberg to First Chairman Bernhard Tenhumberg (first person from right) and association member Wilhelm Terbrack (second person from left).

The association “Mit Hand und Herz e.V.” has been committed for years to preserving regional traditions and old craft techniques. In addition, it supports people in need in Vreden and is actively involved in environmental protection and landscape conservation. Behind the project is a team of volunteer craftspeople who carry out repairs to conserve resources, reduce waste and ease the burden on low-income households. In doing so, the association counteracts the throwaway mentality and raises awareness of sustainability. At the same time, it offers its retired members a meaningful activity and the feeling that they are still needed.

What drives our commitment:

“For us, values are not just words – they guide our daily actions. As a family-run business, we have stood for solidarity, responsibility and a close connection to the people in our region for over 60 years,” says Managing Director Christina Tenhumberg. This sense of community is evident in many ways: as a training company with over 20 young talents in Vreden, through our support for social projects such as the construction of a nursery, and now also with our donation to the charity “Mit Hand und Herz e.V.”. Because for us, it’s not just what we do that counts – but why we do it: out of conviction and with heart.
