Wilhelm Severt Maschinenbau GmbH donates €2,000 to the Elisabeth Hospice in Stadtlohn

Wilhelm Severt Maschinenbau GmbH presented a donation of €2,000 to Elisabeth-Hospiz Stadtlohn GmbH. The donation was presented to hospice director Rieke Liesmann by works council chairman Manuel Muhr, deputy works council chairman Andreas Volmer, and Christina Tenhumberg from the executive board.

For over 20 years, the Elisabeth Hospice has been supporting people in the final stages of their lives. Guided by the motto “Living with dignity – until the very end,” the hospice ensures a mindful and as pain-free a transition as possible through qualified nursing staff, human connection, and respectful care. The focus is on the individual needs of each person – regardless of origin, religion, or social background. Family members and loved ones are lovingly supported during this difficult time.

Why we are committed
There are companies that capture their philosophy in meaningful words. At Severt, we live our values—for over 60 years as a medium-sized family business, closely connected to the people and the region.

Our commitment is evident in many areas: as a training company with over 20 apprentices in Vreden, through our support for social projects such as the construction of a nursery, and now also through this donation to the hospice.

For us, business relationships are always also relationships between people. We stand for reliability, honesty, openness and respectful interaction on equal terms. As a company, we bear responsibility for our environment and society – and act accordingly.

We are delighted to be able to support the valuable work of the Elisabeth Hospice with this donation.
